New commenting rules

For years this website had the possibility of anonymous commenting. No annoying hassle of registration and passwords. This has been changed after the 250th post, about a bonus leak at IMC Chicago. The post received a lot of attention, nearly 400 comments and a few demand letters from US lawyers.

Hate to say it, but one has to register before commenting from now on. You can register over here. The only required information is a working e-mail address and a username. Your privacy will be safe, and don’t expect any mail at all apart from the initial password.

Rules

Decided not to write complicated guidelines for commenting. Don’t embarrass individuals in general, and if you criticize higher management please remember to stay calm. Use arguments. Same thing counts for companies as a whole. The derivatives market is a battlefield, but this website is not. Rude or insulting comments without making a serious point will end up in the thrash can sooner or later.

Complaints

If you feel you, or your company, has been treated unfairly don’t hesitate and drop me a mail (jack@amsterdamtrader.com). If I share your feelings, comments may be deleted or altered.
